A fresh card turns over here the moment its frog is out.
Proof of Croak · on Robinhood Chain
Rare frogs.
Hatched, not bought.
… eggs in one pond, and none for sale. Keep one warm until it cracks and the frog is yours. Let it sit comfy on a lily pad and earn ETH from every hatch, or let it croak for its reward in $CROAK.
The pond
The pond holds … eggs
One frog in every egg, and no two the same. Nobody sells the eggs: they hatch for whoever keeps them warm. Every row below is an epoch of … eggs, and each epoch an egg costs … more.

Keep an egg warm until it cracks
The next egg…
- …for the egg everyone is warming now. You pay only if it cracks for you.
- +…with every epoch of … eggs. … epochs in all.
- First comefirst served. Everyone warms the same egg, and whoever cracks it first gets the frog. The others lose a little gas, never the price.
- Warmthis proof of work: your computer guesses numbers until one fits. The faster it guesses, the warmer the egg.

Your frog
One block later, the frog is out
When the egg cracks the card is yours, but it is still an egg. The hash of the next block picks the frog from the designs still left, so nobody can choose. Not even you.
What can be in an egg
- … designseach used once. A design is one frog: its skin, what it wears, its eyes and mouth, the scene behind it, a name of its own and its famous last words.

Comfy
Put it on a lily pad and it earns
- …of every hatch price is rent, shared at once by the frogs sitting comfy on lily pads.
- …your share for a lock of … days. Longer lock, bigger pad.
- Any timeclaim the ETH your frogs have earned.
- No way outbefore the lock ends. A comfy frog can't be sold, sent or croak.

When the lock ends, the frog keeps earning until you take it off its pad. Moving to a longer lock restarts the clock. If no frogs are staked, the rent goes to $CROAK.

Egg #… opens the pond

- … → …the trading fee, falling over the first … minutes so sniping the opening does not pay. It goes to the team, in ETH.
- …of every trade is burned, and after egg #… the … of every hatch buys $CROAK back and burns it.

Croak
Or let it croak for $CROAK
- …$CROAK for a card that croaks in its own epoch. It is the reward printed on the card.
- Halffor every epoch that has passed since. Early frogs croak for less and less.
- Only way innew $CROAK is made by nothing else.
- For goodthe card is burned. It must be … minutes old and off its lily pad, and croaking opens with the pond.

The rules
How the pond works
Where every hatch price goes
… rent to comfy frogsShared among the cards staked at that moment. If nothing is staked, it goes to $CROAK. The team's … cards are staked at … from the first hatch, so they take a share from the start.
… teamPaid to the team wallet.
… $CROAKSaved until egg #… to open the pond. After that it buys $CROAK and burns it.
What the team gets
- … cardsthe first ones, free, made with the contract. Staked for … days at … the moment hatching opens: they earn rent from the first hatch and can't be sold or croak until then. Their frogs are drawn by chance like everyone's.
- …of every hatch price.
- …$CROAK at the start.
- The feeon every trade in the pool, in ETH.
- …royalty on resales of cards.
Plan B: if egg #… never hatches
The pond opens only with egg #…. Until that egg hatches, the team wallet can call the hatching off.
Hatching then closes for good and the pond never opens. The ETH saved for the pool goes to the team wallet with the team's own share, and the team refunds hatchers by hand: the contract pays no refunds and nobody can claim one from it.
Rent already earned stays with the staked cards, and every frog is set free: it can leave its lily pad at once. Once egg #… has hatched, plan B is closed for good.
… epochs, egg by egg
… cards in … epochs of …. The price starts at … and goes up … each epoch. Cards 1 to … are the team's, so … eggs of epoch 1 are there to hatch, and … in all.

Under the shell: hatching is proof of work
Said plainly: keeping an egg warm is proof of work. Everyone works on the same puzzle: find a number (a nonce) that makes keccak256(challenge, your address, nonce) lower than the target. Every hatch changes the puzzle, so everyone starts over. There is at most one card per block. Your address is part of the hash, so nobody can steal your find. If someone is first you pay only gas, never the price.
The puzzle aims for one card every … seconds. It adjusts every … cards, at most 4× harder or 2× easier. Each recent hatch doubles the work for a while. Every … quiet minutes halve it. The easiest level gets twice as hard each epoch.
The egg and the next block. A new card has no tier and no frog yet. Its design is picked with the hash of the next block, which does not exist when the transaction is sent. Robinhood Chain makes about ten blocks a second, so this page shows the frog about 0.2 s after the hatch. The next hatch writes it on chain; when the pond is quiet, anyone can do that with reveal(). Until then wallets and marketplaces show the card as an egg. The chain keeps block hashes for about 11 hours, so a frog let out within that time still comes from the block right after its hatch.
Bring your own hatcher
Any tool is allowed. This page hatches on your CPU, or on your GPU in browsers with WebGPU (Chrome and Edge on desktop, recent Safari). The puzzle is public, so a hatcher you write yourself works just like this page. The contract calls things by their plain names:
// 1. read the puzzle (state(yourAddress) returns all of it in one call) challenge = challenge() // bytes32, changes with every hatch target = effectiveTarget() // uint256, moves with recent hatches and quiet time price = currentPrice() // wei, 0 when sold out // 2. search digest = keccak256(abi.encodePacked(challenge, yourAddress, uint256 nonce)) // 32 bytes + 20 bytes + 32 bytes = 84 bytes, one keccak block found when uint256(digest) < target // 3. send the find from yourAddress (it only works for that address) mine(nonce) with value >= price // extra ETH is refunded // egg #… also opens the pool: gas limit >= GATE_GAS (…), send ~…
- One card per block. Every hatch changes the challenge, so a find only works until the next one. Check
state(you).challengeright before you send. - A late find reverts with
InvalidSolutionorOneMintPerBlock. You lose only gas, never the price. - The target moves. It adjusts every … cards to aim for one card per … s. Each recent hatch doubles the work for a while (one step cools off per … s, … steps at most). Every … quiet minutes halve the work. The easiest level gets twice as hard each epoch.
- Handy views:
digestOf(address, nonce)checks a find,currentStreak(),currentBaseTarget(),epochFloor(id). Errors:NotStarted,SoldOut,OneMintPerBlock,Underpaid(price),InvalidSolution,GateNeedsGas(gas).
Contract: not deployed yet on Robinhood Chain. RPC .
Questions
What do I need to start?
A browser wallet like MetaMask or Rabby, and a little ETH on Robinhood Chain for the price of an egg and gas. The page adds the network for you. Hatching is free. You pay only when an egg cracks for you.
Is hatching a kind of mint?
Yes, with work in front of it. Hatching is proof of work: your computer has to find a number that fits the puzzle before the contract lets you mint the card. That is why nobody can buy the eggs up, the team included.
Why did my find stop working?
Every hatch changes the puzzle, so a find only works until someone else hatches. The puzzle also gets harder right after a hatch and easier when the pond is quiet. The page checks your find before it opens your wallet, and drops it if it is too late.
What does coming second cost?
Nothing while you keep the egg warm. If someone cracks it just before your transaction lands, yours fails and you pay only gas, which is tiny on Robinhood Chain. You never pay the price for an egg you did not get.
Can I sell a comfy frog?
No. A staked card can't be sold, sent or burned until you unstake it, and you can't unlock early. Cancel any marketplace listing before you stake.
What happens when a frog croaks?
The card is burned and gone for good, and you get $CROAK: … for a card of the current epoch, half for each epoch that has passed. The card must be … minutes old and not staked. Croaking opens with the pond.
